What is a Lightboard?

A lightboard is a special glass board. Think of a transparent whiteboard which lights up when you write on it. The image from the video camera is then ‘flipped’. The big advantage is that the lightboard user is always facing their audience.

Where would you use a Lightboard?

Teaching Online

Lightboards offer a unique approach and are proven to be very effective for teaching online. Students can always observe the teacher with direct eye contact and follow every step of the teacher’s explanation as they write on the glass board.
