Lightboard Vs Smart-Lightboard™
A traditional “Lightboard” is a transparent board usually made from glass where the teacher or presenter writes on the surface with a neon pen while a camera is recording their content. The neon writing is illuminated using special LEDs around the board.
A ‘Smart-Lightboard’ uses a new technology which integrates a digital ’layer’ over the glass transforming the surface into a large transparent touch screen. This allows the user to write digitally, annotate, display, and interact with 3D images, while maintaining direct eye contact with the camera and audience.
